FAQ—DAY PASSES IN BYRON BAY

  • A day pass at Social Remedy Byron Bay gives you access to the gym (including the outdoor garage), our recovery space, or any class on the timetable — depending on the pass you choose. The Casual Gym Pass covers all gym areas. The Recovery Drop-in is a 60-minute session with towels included. The Gym + Recovery combo bundles both. The Class Drop-in books you into any single class.

  • Day pass pricing at Social Remedy starts from $25 for a Casual Gym Pass, $49 for a Recovery Drop-in (60 min, towels included), and $30 for a Class Drop-in. The Gym + Recovery combo is bundled at $60. Pricing is the same for locals and visitors — no premium for casual access.

  • For gym and recovery drop-ins, you can walk in during reception hours — sign the waiver at the desk, pay, and start training straight away. For class drop-ins, book online through our timetable, which runs on our GymMaster platform with secure card-on-file. Holiday passes can be purchased at reception, or online with your waiver sent to email.

  • A day pass is for a single visit — casual access, no commitment. A holiday pass gives you ongoing access for 1, 2, 3, or 4 weeks, designed for visitors staying in Byron Bay or locals taking an extended block. Holiday passes come in two tiers: 24/7 gym access only, or the Platinum Pass which includes all fitness areas, group classes, and unlimited contrast therapy sessions in the recovery suite.

  • Yes. Class drop-ins are available for any class on the timetable, including Sculpt Division reformer pilates, gym group classes, and mobility sessions. Book online via the timetable — no membership required, no contract, no joining fee. You will be asked to put a card on file as we charge $20 for no-shows to protect the limited class spaces.

  • Yes. The Gym + Recovery combo pass is built for exactly that — train, then drop into the sauna, ice bath, infrared sauna, or book a massage on the same visit. Or pair a class drop-in with a recovery session by booking each separately. Many of our locals stack class + cold plunge as their standard routine.

  • We're at 1A Banksia Drive in Byron Bay, a 5-minute drive from the town centre. The gym is open 24/7 for members; day pass holders are welcome during staffed reception hours. Parking is free onsite, and also available on-street. The recovery suite and Sculpt Division studio are in the same building.

  • Yes — local residents can claim a free 3-day trial of the full Social Remedy ecosystem before committing to a membership. The trial includes gym access, group classes, and a recovery session. For visitors or anyone staying longer than a few days, the holiday pass is a better fit.

  • No contract and no joining fee for day passes or class drop-ins — pay and walk in. Holiday passes have a $20 refundable FOB deposit that holds your 24/7 door access and is returned when you hand the FOB back at the end of your stay. The only commitment is the pass itself.

  • If you're training in Byron more than three times a week, a membership is usually better value than stacking day passes. Tiers run from gym-only through to our Platinum and Ultimate memberships, which include the full recovery system and longevity treatments. Members get 24/7 entry, unlimited classes, and member rates on one-off treatments.
